Where's my furniture

I was given a binding contract through Eco van to only be brokered out to all USA van lines for double my binding contract. When calling to confirm delivery I was told that my earliest date of delivery is their first day they even begin to look to ship my items. My pick up was two weeks ago from Durham nc for delivery in Houston Texas. The rude person on the phone said if I wanted my things in two weeks I should have say I was available for delivery on the day of pick up. Huh? I have tried to speak to a manager to no avail and was told the only person who could help me was the CEO and no way was I going to talk to them. Can we say scam?

I so wish I would have seen this before I had them load my stuff. I have been waiting almost 3 weeks for my shipment and all they keeptelling me is that it can take up to 21 business days and that's what my contract said.

I have asked to speak with a supervisor several times and still keep getting the run around. I am beyond pissed off and I would NOT reccomend them to a fly or my worst enemy :( :( :( :(

Movers days late and estimated costs wrong- overcharged

USA Van lines (out of New York and New Jersey) ripped me off. I spoke with "Stacie" who gave me an estimate on my move for a 2 bedroom apt half way across country. When the movers came they charged me almost twice as much as my estimate. Then they told me the date I requested to have my delivery would be no problem, but never called me the day before to confirm as they said they would, and when I called them they now said that they would be coming 5 days later. When I tried to talk to Stacie again who guaranteed my delivery date, I got the run around. First saying that she was out sick, then that she no longer worked for the company. I tried to speak several times with someone name "George" in dispatch who would not offer me an explanation or discount and said that he would call me back. He never called. Throughout days of waiting in an empty apartment, I called and emailed the company several times, with little help from anyone who answered the phone, if they even answered. When the two movers finally showed up 5 days later at 4am, they requested cash up front, and told me they were charging me extra money for the 4 extra stairs they had to go up. They would not begin emptying my truck until I gave them all the money, and told me to call the police, which I did. I did not trust the two guys in their 20's (very unprofessional) who were smoking in the parking lot of my new condo complex and arguing with me about extra stairs at 4am when they were 5 days late. When I looked in the truck, some of my items were knocked around, and not wrapped up. Please DO NOT use this moving company, I wish I had researched it better, however, of course they sent me consumer reviews raving about this place, but now I am thinking it is all fake. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau about this company and I'll attempt to get some money back.

Scam artists, liars....

Moved 3000 miles from MD to CA. Got a binding quote from Anthony who claimed to own the business...he does NOT..he is a sales rep who will tell you anything to get your business. I gave a very detailed listing of all items being moved and he assured me his estimates were always way over the actual cost, and on moving day I would be very happy. Well, he was 2000.00 off in his favor and suddenly couldn't be reached by phone. I wasn't happy to say the least, but I had to pay it and get moved. I tried 4 times the week before the move to update the inventory and he wouldn't return my calls. One time I did reach him he said he guaranteed his quote. I have not received my furniture yet, had a delivery date and now am told there is a 3 day window when they will try to deliver. Customer service is no help, especially when they hardly speak English. I was concerned about something like this happening...and it did. I don't know if there is anyone honest left out there? I hope they sleep well at night...Karma guys, Karma.... I will add that the two men that actually moved us were fantastic, professional, and efficient. Too bad they work for this company.

Waiting to get live person on phone

They picked up my stuff 3 days late. Now I am in AZ. waiting for my stuff to be delivered from Ohio. It was suppose to be delivered on the 5th of July. We are in an apartment with no furniture,,,nothing. I cannot get anyone on the phone. I have left alot of messages. On the dispatch and sales number. What am I suppose to do. I am terrified I will not get my stuff back. what should I do? Is there another number I should be calling? I payed them most of the money...which was more at pickup then the original quote I got over the phone, and emailed to me. I really need my belongings back...so many personal items that I would really miss and cannot replace.

This happened to me as well. If you keep calling from you phone, they know who you are.

I had my daughter call, she got the email for the customer supervisor, who I emailed and requested/demanded to know the name and location of the storage facility in which my stuff was being held. We picked it up. It was a hassle, lost days from work, had to pay for another truck and drive 4 hours from VA to Raleigh, NC, but we got all of our stuff.

We saw other people's stuff in the unit as well. Noone should have to go thru this, what a nightmare

Guest

Well we are in the same boat. I been calling them and they tell me that they are going to related the message to the movers who pick up my furniture.

I been waiting for two weeks and know one has call me yet. I don't know what to do either. my been since may and I told them to leave it in storage for one month and know has called me to let me know when my furniture is arriving to OK.

Worst Movers EVER!!!!! Save yourself the headache

I provided them with accurate information regarding what we were moving and where it was going. When they arrived on moving day, the driver wanted to charge $1,000 more than the official estimate, DOUBLING the total. I called the company and asked to speak to a manager, but nobody could find one so I was stuck with this shady driver's quote and an apathetic phone salesperson. This company is very unprofessional and I would recommend you use someone else. I ended up NOT using them, losing my deposit, and choosing someone locally who is actually trustworthy. They are the worst moving company ever.

Took 36 days to deliver and lost 1/2 of items

We booked with this company and they picked up my mothers items on June 14th. We were told for 4 weeks that the furniture was coming. Twice the truck "broke down" and the furniture took over a month to arrive. They were VERY rude during the process and to top it off over 1/2 of her stuff was not in the moving truck. SHE LOST SO MANY VALUABLE antiques! FURNITURE that belonged to her parents and they took away memories! THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL! We were given an estimate over the phone based on items and than even though what we gave them was what the loaded they estimated weight wrong so they were able to go from $4 a pound to $6 and the price went from $1500 to $3000.00 This was the WORST experience and we are still in the process of dealing with this!

I spoke to givani when the truck arrived and he admitted that a lot of our stuff was not on the truck. 87 of 200 pieces.

And of course it was all of the valuable items. He called and said they found it four days ago but still no word on when it will arrive.

Guest

Hi - We have the same issue, I wish I had really analyzed the reviews and realized the good ones were written by their company. Please let me know how you are dealing with this, it makes no sense that we have to sign papers before the van unloads - how do we know we have received all our items...

or how are we compensated for our items. (ank009 (at) gmail

All usa van lines is a great disappointment

A friend has been going through the most horrible process with this company. It started with a binding quote with eco-van lines. Then they brokered/contracted with all usa van lines to pick up the household goods. Which were transported to a warehouse, not delivered within the 5 days as promised. Then the quoted price doubled as they held the belongings hostage. Finally part of my friends belongings were delivered approximately 40+ days later in another van lines truck. Horribly packed and some items damaged and stolen. They even tried to leave other clients belongings with my friend. I am disappointed to learn that moving companies like this exist. My friend has had a very bad experience with this move. Many items were stolen, damaged and boxes opened and gone through and then repacked (missing items). How can we as a group, that has been or observed this abuse and been damaged by these moving companies practices, put a STOP TO THIS. No one deserves to be treated like this when moving. Moving is stressful enough. Putting people under duress to sign documents and force larger payments out of them than was originally agreed upon is just wrong. You make a contract with one company and the next thing you know two or three companies are handling your belongings. You never know where your household goods are or when you are going to get them. You never have the opportunity to talk to one person consistently. You spend a lot of your time on hold. I am thoroughly disgusted.

Same deal I have stuff missing - in case anyone comes across a box with the address in San Bruno, CA please let me know (ank009 (at) gmail) ... horrible service...

I dont know how they get away with it.... it says you get your own consultant throughout the move...

as soon as your stuff is picked up the consultant goes missing... or maybe even changes his name.

Guest

They are a company contracted with many movers because i dont think they own their own moving trucks. The driver that move my things came from Florida came in an Enterprise truck, the driver that delivered my things came from Las Vegas in a unmarked truck not from the company.

Why are so many different people handling my belongings?? To start,I booked my move with Eco-Van Lines in Boston.I was told by Eco van lines verbally that it would take 14 days only for it to take almost a month(20 days).I was quoted $2040 & later charged $3587! I updated my inventory list as the move got closer,& removed some things off of the list. On the day of the move another shipping company came.

Strange..what happened to Eco-Van lines?? My invoice listed things i didnt have, and i was way overcharged from what i was initially quoted. My mistake was that i did not cancel the transaction with them when the initial company that i booked did not arrive at my door. I was 1 day from physically relocating and to book another company at the very last minute would have been too much trouble.

As i later called to inquire when my things would be arriving, i was told that they have 21 days to send me my things, that is not what i was told! The lack of communication is another issue i have with this company. They told me that my things will come on a thursday only for the driver to call me unexpectedly call me late wednesday evening and tell me that he is on his way. I had to scramble to get the funds to pay him and was told a fee would be assessed is i was not home for the delivery. As i complained to the company supervisor the next day, he agreed to refund me $75 in "good faith" as if to say he is doing me a favor.

These people are crooks and people should know the fine print and who they are SPECIFICALLY dealing with. These type of companies run side contracts with other companies who have their own fees that is made unaware to you until they show up at your door, and you're pretty much forced to sign on the dotted line!

Guest

This is like reading my story. I am currently going through the exact same thing.

You hire one company they pass you off to another that you declined to do business with because they have an F rating with the BBB and, still get stuck with them. I just submitted a Claim with All USA, I'm sure that's going to be a joke.

Trust me it won't be the end for me. Thanks for your story.

Guest

This perfectly describes what I am going through right now with this company. Last sunday they came to drop off my stuff and brought the wrong persons things. They also told me it was the first time it ever happened.

Was great until they got payment

They started off great! Came out on the spot picked my belongs up and gave them a deposit and pickup fee. Now I call and always get VM with no return call. I called again today and was shocked when someone answered the phone but I was then put on hold for 41 minutes. While on hold I called from my cell phone and went to sales and WOW someone again answered my lucky day!! I was told my belongings will arrive mid-week next week - GREAT but I was told the same thing last week. Guess I'm going back to voicemail and being placed on hold. Last week when calling I kept hitting 0 when getting voice mail and hitting any option I could till someone answered. It took my an hour and 15 minutes of doing this (never hanging up just hitting 0) before I got a live person. I was told that my belongs were still in a warehouse but would be picked up on Sunday to be here this week now next week but when I asked if someone to call me - *** me! I was told no I had to call them. This is a really great moving company and I recommened that anyone who doesnt care about thier belongings or dont need them call this company. The joke at my office is that my stuff is showing up on eBay.

they picked up my stuff lats week and didn't take my bed or table and chairs. Said they would go back to pick it up TWICE now they have not showed up. I'm very nervous I won't get my stuff and the pick up guy wrote on the receipt FUEL CHARGE extra $134.00

Sheila A Kww

I just went through most of the same thing. They are great when they are working for your business but, after that forget it.

There is another website, "The Complaint Report" that you can check dozens of complaints about this company and, it's affiliates. Someone is looking to do a Class Action Suit.

Sounds good to me. I don't think it's a joke that your stuff is on ebay.

Best of luck

Guest

They are supposed to pick up my stuff tomorrow,, Getting nervous here,, did you people finally get your stuff?

Guest

We had a similar experience a month ago. We finally received our belongs after having to shell out an additional $3 grand.

Then when they arrived, the charged another $50 for 2 extra stairs, asked for a tip, then would only drop belongings off in the gargage and didn't reassemble any of my furniture.

Horrible company. NOw, I cant even find them on BBB.

Guest

I am in the same situation. They picked up my stuff last week, and since then I have tried calling and either no answer or voicemail with no return calls. Did you get your stuff yet?

All USA Vanlines

I received a call a few hours ago. They're wanting to deliver a complete three bedroom house at 8pm tonight (a Sunday night) or charge an additional $350 for delivering tomorrow. How late do you think they'll be unpacking& putting furniture together? We were quoted $4,100 by Eco Van Lines & who brokered this delivery out to All USA Vanlines without our knowledge & without a license to broker (or even operate) per the FMSCA (licensing entity for interstate moving). Instead of the $4100, we were told it would be $9000($!) to deliver. They requested half of the amount be made to The Movers Group (whose business license revoked prior to the move by the FMSCA for refusal of an audit & they are also not licensed to broker) and the other half would be cash on delivery. Then they said they normally get tipped by customers & typically they receive 10%. 10% of $9000!?!?! A $900 tip!?!?! Once you call, beware. People do not identify themselves & the professionalism you would typically find of a large company is just not there. Couldn't get anyone on a Sunday either to discuss this of course. All USA vanlines deals with shady people. Watch out for this and other companies whose positive reviews are all around the same time period. A staff members is simply making up good reviews to generate business. This company was supposedly in business since 2009 but all the reviews are from May 2009 & days apart.

I have been going through the same thing. The BBB has closed my complaint, feeding into Eco Vanlines poor me, poor me garbage.

They said, that they would further investigate if they see more complaints like mine come through. I have filed complaints with the Consumer Affairs, Federal Trade Commision, and Utilities Transprotation Commision.

Try them. We need to work together to shut these theives down.

Tomorrow I will look for the contact name and no. that you can speak to about your incident.

I have the contact information at work I believe.

I'm just horrified how this keeps happening to people. It's not chump change either.

We had the exact same situation. Our 1st quote after we had an in-home quote was $4285.

Paid the whole bill up front. Once they arrived at our home, it jumped up to $8grand. Then after 2 weeks of our belongings held in a storage unit, the movers asked for another $50 for 2 extra stairs upon which they would not move items into rooms. They only wanted to unload in a "staging area".

They refused to reassemble furniture and broke half of our belongings. Then, asked for a tip as well. Now, i cant even find them on BBB. If anyone can tell me where to file a complain, please respond to me.

We were also bidded out after we specifically told them we didn't not want to be bidded out from Eco Vanlines. I was able to file a complaint with Eco Vanlines on the BBB yesterday, but I want to do the same with ALL USA Vanlines.

Very Good Services

These guys are great! Within 1 day of me asking for a quote, someone called me, gave me a quote, and scheduled a moving date and time. The 3 man team came on time, wrapped up all of my furniture, and moved it to my new apartment within the estimated time frame. Can't say enough good things about this moving company. The service was worth every single penny. great service and good price ! They are professional, Efficient, Economical. They are worth 10 stars. And should give 100 out of 100 for their servcices. I highly recommend All USA Van Lines!

They are still at it. The damage was so much, the missing boxes and the rudeness of the deliverers to my son and apartment staff is uncalled for.

They also requested a $300 tip and did not give us the tare weights. My son and I had repeatedly requested them because they said I was overweight prior to leaving my house. At delivery, it was 2600 lbs over. These people need to be stopped.

I was told to go to civil court. Guess where I am going!

Guest

Unfortunatley they are still in business and did the same thing to me just recently (Sep 2013). We were able to find the storage unit and pick up the items ourselves. They are a nightmare company and shouldn't be in business

Guest

there is nothing good about the All USA Van Lines, they are professional thieves. I missed 2 larges boxes, 1 medium box, 1 small box, 1 mirror, 1 rug, and after that they had opened all of my boxes and stole a lot of stuff, a big coincidence those 4 boxes they stole had a lot of valuable and expensive things that worth close to $30,000.00, 1 small box had my wife wedding gown, she had purchased for $1,567.00.

My wife kept calling them for 2 months, they had never returned the phone call, she left several messages for a manager name Jovani, no answer, they picked up our stuff on 08/27/2012, their vehicle broke down, I took them to the auto parts to buy a jump cable, I gave them a jump cable, I tipped them, I bought them some refreshment even after the price was $2,158.37, they raised it up to $677.53 more and another $150.00 and after that he was tried to get another $250.00 for insurance, when they delivered my furniture and boxes on 9/8/12, they stole a lot goods and damaged my furniture, 3 kitchen chairs damaged beyong repaired. when my wife called them, they said they can not do anything for her, they stole all of my children winter clothes, all of my wife clothes, they stole all of our blankets, sheets, suits, leather jackets, blazers, dresses.

They must have some mental problems or they do not have a heart. when, I tried to call the driver to discuss about those missing itemts, he simply said, he does not have them, when I tried to call him again, he had his phone off, this is injustice, this is a crime.

Guest

All USA Van Lines are professional thieves, they are not a professional movers, they stole half of my stuff, please stay away from that company, I had a contract with that company to move my stuff from Jacksonville, FL to Norwalk CT on 08/27/2012, they had opened all of my boxes and stole a lot of my stuffs, they stole 2 large boxes, 1 medium box, 1 small box, 1 mirror, 1 rugs.

I am very impressed

We're not planning on moving again for a long long time, but if we were, I'd call these guys again in a heart beat! The two movers were fast, efficient and very respectful of our things. They were even able to get something out of the door that cross- country movers from one of the big companies that moved us in claimed couldn't fit through and had to hoist over the balcony. The quote they gave is was exactly what it cost. I would recommend these guys a thousand times over. they are really amazing!. Good Job.

Great Moving Experience

These guys moved me out of my condo last fall and stored quite a lot of my stuff at their facility, including my precious piano. Last week, two days after closing on our new house, they got all my things out of storage, packed up our one bedroom flat, and delivered it all to the new house. These guys were EFFICIENT when they move you; they don't waste time and effort, they were on time, courteous, professional and their attitudes were a pleasure to be around. Their attention to detail stands out in taking care not to damage or misplace anything. I will only use these guys in the future, they were worth every penny.
